Where To Park?
The best parking option depends on where your flight is taking off from and your needs.
Take the example of a traveller who is going on a two-day trip. Since it’s a short tip, he decides to fly with a budget airline. In this case, the public parking at KLIA Terminal 2 is the most convenient as it’s connected to the main terminal building of KLIA Terminal 2. Given that the maximum rate a day is RM52, his parking fees for two days will range from RM52 to RM104.
If an individual is flying for a six-day trip from KLIA Terminal 1, he has several options to choose from. The most convenient parking facility would be the Short-Term Public Parking building as it’s connected to the main terminal building. Based on the maximum rates per day, his parking fees for six days would be a total of RM246.
Alternatively, he can also park his car at the designated Long-Term Public Parking building at a separate location from KLIA Terminal 1. The parking rates are cheaper here, with a maximum rate of RM32 per day. His total parking fees for six days would be around RM192, which is RM54 cheaper than at the Short-Term Parking building. However, he will need to plan ahead of time and be able to walk with his luggage for a longer distance.
