How Much Do The iPhone 16 & iPhone 16 Pro Cost In Malaysia?
Before we dive into the mobile plans, let’s find out how much the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro cost.

The cheapest iPhone 16 costs RM3,999 with 128GB storage, which is decent for regular usage. However, if you want a larger screen display, the iPhone 16 Plus cost at least RM4,499, with 128GB.
Prices For iPhone 16 On A Mobile Plan
Since the announcement of the iPhone 16 launch, several telcos have revealed their respective mobile plans. We look at the pricings of the iPhone 16 mobile plans offered by four major telcos in Malaysia.
U Mobile
U Mobile‘s U Pay Later plans let you get an iPhone 16 without paying upfront. The plans are available for a contract period of 24 months or 36 months.
The following are the prices of getting an iPhone 16 with U Mobile’s highest tier postpaid plan – Postpaid 98 and the lowest tier postpaid plan – Postpaid 68.
The Postpaid 98 plan offers 1,000GB 5G/4G high speed data while the Postpaid 68 plan comes with 300GB 5G/4G data. U Mobile’s postpaid plans also come with unlimited local calls, free international roaming and free incoming calls from abroad.

As you can see, the 36-month contract plans have cheaper monthly prices compared to the 24-month contract plans. However, the 36-month contract plan is longer so the overall cost may be higher than the 24-month contract plan.
For example, if you get an iPhone 16 with U Mobile’s Postpaid 98 plan over a contract of 36 months, your monthly payment is RM189. This means you will spend a total of RM6,804 over 36 months. If you opt for the shorter contract duration of 24 months, your monthly payment will be RM239 and you will spend RM5,736 over the period of 24 months.
Now, if you choose to buy the iPhone 16 separately and pay for a Postpaid 98 mobile plan every month for 36 months, you will spend RM7,527, which is more expensive than getting the phone on the plan.

Maxis customers can get a new device without upfront payment with Zerolution plans that come in a 24-mont or 36-months contract.
Here’s how much it costs to get the iPhone 16 with Maxis’ highest-tier postpaid plan – Postpaid 199 and lowest-tier postpaid plan – Postpaid 109. The Maxis Postpaid 199 offers 1,000GB +200GB data and unlimited calls and SMS as well as up to four share lines at RM48 each. The Maxis Postpaid 109 plan comes with 100GB +200GB data with unlimited calls and SMS and one share line.
