Concert goers have a lot to look forward to in 2025, with international performers such as K-pop artist G Dragon and Hong Kong legendary singer Jacky Cheung slated to perform in Kuala Lumpur later in the year.
The Malaysian concert scene offers a diverse mix of shows from different genres including jazz tunes and pop rock jams to performances from the Mandopop, Cantopop, Kpop and Bollywood entertainment worlds.
As concert season is in full swing now, there is almost a new show every week for the next few months. Here’s a list of the upcoming international concerts that will be taking place in Malaysia.
#1 Xdinary Heroes – 31 May 2025
We may be familiar with the K-pop genre but if you want a change of tune, Xdinary Heroes is a South Korean rock band who plays instruments and performs hits like ”Beautiful Life” and ”Night Before The End” that have garnered millions of views on YouTube.
Managed by renowned JYP Entertainment, the six-member group Xdinary Heroes will be performing in Malaysia for the first time on 31 May 2025 at the intimate and exciting music venue Zepp Kuala Lumpur, that allows you to rock out with up to 2,400 fellow attendees.

Taiwan-based Zhao Chuan is an accomplished artist, with 14 albums and several awards under his belt, including the “Best Male Mandarin Singer” at the Taiwan Golden Melody Awards.
Over his 35 years of performing around the world, Zhao has curated an impressive playlist including the song “I’m Not Good Looking, But I’m Very Gentle”, which propelled him to fame in the late 80s.
Zhao will be returning to the Arena of Stars at Resorts World Genting, Pahang this 31 May 2025.

#3 Yussef Dayes – 4 June 2025
UK award-nominated artist, composer and drummer Yussef Dayes is coming to Malaysia for one night on 4 June 2025, with back-to-back performances in Singapore the day before on 3 June 2025.
The unique sound of Yussef Dayes’ music enmeshes spirited jazz tunes with the beats of neo-soul and Afrobeat that’s sure to get fans tapping their feet.

Taiwan-based singer Where Chou holds the accolade of being known as a ”Healing Diva” among her fan due to her soft and sweet voice.
Having debuted in the late 90s, Chou skyrocketed to stardom with hits like ”Don’t Want To Let You Know” and clinched the ”Best New Artist” award at the Singapore Golden Melody Awards in 2000.She just released her new single ”Guo Ke” earlier in April 2025.

If you enjoy watching Hong Kong movies, you are probably well-acquainted with Taiwan-based actor slash singer. Jen is a 90s heartthrob and has appeared in many prominent roles in popular Hong Kong movies including the popular romantic comedy ”Summer Holiday” that was filmed in Malaysia’s Redang Island.
He is also a talented singer, with popular Mandopop hits like ”Too Softhearted” and ”The Sad Pacific” that has accumulated 71 million and 46 million views on YouTube. Richie Jen will be returning to Malaysia after two years at the Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands, Pahang.

The concert will pay homage to their respective careers in the music industry with performances of their popular hit songs as well as new duets purposely created for the show.

Not one, not two but three Hong Kong artists – Moon Lau, Hubert Wu and James Ng – will be performing in a ”Hey June Music Party” concert this coming 28 June 2025.
Hubert Wu is the voice of over 20 drama theme songs produced by Hong Kong-based network TVB and was a chosen winner of the ”2010 TVB International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship”. Moon Lau is second runner-up in the 2013 Miss Hong Kong Pageant who has acted in and lent her voice to popular TVB drama series. James Ng is also an award-winning singer who acts in TVB dramas and Chinese dramas.

Fans will be able to reunite with Hsiao, who is known for his powerful vocal abilities, having hashed out tunes like ”Miss You Forever” and ”A Love Song For You”.

No introduction required, Jacky Cheung is known for his smooth vocals which have earned him his title as one of the Four Heavenly Kings, along with Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok and Leon Lai during the peak of Hong Kong’s entertainment scene in the 90s.
The initial shows run from 15 – 17 August 2025. Due to overwhelming demand, the organiser added three more shows on the following weekends from 22 – 24 August 2025
