Requirements For Shopping At Duty-Free Stores
Duty-free shops are typically situated in the airside area of airports, between the boarding gates and the airspace, to serve air passengers and cabin crew. Both international travelers and local passengers boarding a flight can shop at these stores.
To be eligible to shop at duty-free stores, passengers must meet the minimum travel duration requirement of 48 hours. However, passengers flying to Singapore (except those in transit) are not allowed to purchase liquor and cigarettes.
